[HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL - Project MINDBREAK Status Report]

When Lord Andross’s forces captured Fox McCloud, ace pilot and leader of the bounty hunter team Star Fox, he was immediately transferred to the Planet Venom’s highest security processing facility and placed under my sole supervision, as the facility’s most senior operative.

McCloud, henceforth referred to by his new designation of Prisoner C03225, has been designated a high risk detainee due to his invaluable status to the Cornerian war effort and therefore it is of great importance that he is appropriately put out of commission. However, we have concluded that as C03225’s destruction may martyr the ace pilot and serve as a recruitment tool for the Cornerian Army, alternative methods would be required to ensure the prisoner cannot return to combat situations.

Lord Andross and placed me personally in charge of uncovering and employing this method. Therefore, I have taken this rare opportunity to test a highly experimental method of mind alteration, designed to comprehensively break down a detainee’s resistance and reprogram them to be loyal to our causes or disloyal to others. This project is named MINDBREAK.

MINDBREAK operates using a combination of physical, visual and audio stimulation to overwhelm and control a subject. We began to test these methods towards the start of the war using POWs and volunteer subjects, gradually building a dataset with which to refer to for constructing the most influential form of each type of stimulation. In our initial tests, a form of tickling torture was used for the physical aspect, so as to preserve the longevity of the limited number of test subjects in our possession; however, we were surprised to learn that it was an extremely effective stimulation method and therefore much investment has been made into technology and methods to use it effectively.

Based on average datasets, we initially concluded that it would take at least 200 hours of continual MINDBREAK treatment to have Prisoner C03225 submit to us fully. However, we quickly learned that by some sheer coincidence, the chosen method of tickling had a far beyond average effectiveness when used on this particular detainee. In short: Prisoner C03225 is extremely ticklish. He is extremely susceptible to tickling torture, far more so than any previous subject, and therefore we revised our estimate time to only 80 hours. Simulations factoring in the addition of non-stop audio and visual stimulation revised this estimate further to only a paltry 60 hours of treatment.

It has not taken long to validate these conclusions. In the initial hours of treatment, the prisoner struggled fiercely, threatening our operatives and fighting against his reinforced carbon bonds. Moving into the 11th hour of his treatment, we have observed that his resistance has already significantly reduced; threats have dissipated and opposition to the treatment only reaches the extent of babbled protests, interspersed with childish giggling and laughter.

For the initial 24 hours of the procedure, auto-roaming surface stimulators were placed on the soles of the subject’s paws. These devices, each equipped with a fine spinning brush that stimulates the skin, moves autonomously until every inch of the sole has been covered several times over. This is not only a method of torture, but in fact one of further data collection. Scanners on each unit feed information on the subject’s weaknesses directly into our system, constantly revising the structure of the overall procedure to maximise its effectiveness. We believe that following this initial scanning process, our time estimates may be further reduced. It should be noted that it was not expected that this relatively low-grade method of tickling within the context of our arsenal of tools would be so overwhelmingly effective.

Having received Lord Andross’s approval following the initial success of the project, I was provided with near-total discretion as to how to proceed with the mental reprogramming aspect of the procedure. Not wanting to put the prisoner into any combat-adjacent situations that may risk undoing the mind alterations we have so meticulously applied, I opted not to turn Prisoner C03225 loyal to our cause, but rather remove any aspect of aggressiveness from his mind whatsoever.

I have opted instead to turn the former pilot’s newfound weakness into the centre of his existence. The subject’s paws will be reprogrammed into highly erogenous zones through which unbearable pleasure can be derived and a paw and tickling fixation will be designed into his personality. Then will come an implementation of total desire for submission on all counts. My intention is to transform the former ace into a submissive slave who can eventually be sold into servitude. I believe this will be effective both in ensuring the subject fades into obscurity and cannot be retrieved by his allies, whilst sentencing him to a fittingly humiliating fate deserving of an enemy of Lord Andross.

I will conclude this report noting that we have commissioned further MINDBREAK units in preparation of the likely scenario that further Cornerian allies seek to retrieve Prisoner C03225 and we are fully prepared to submit other of Team Star Fox to this procedure, having now learned of its effectiveness. Additionally, Lord Andross himself has requested that special dispensation be made to accommodate of Team Star Wolf on the MINDBREAK program, should they seek to double-cross him or betray the war effort. I will take great pleasure in undertaking these orders.
