honestly, yeah. the fandom, or at least the part that does a lot of the fan art, is kinda extremely edgeless.

I think that it might just be that fandom spaces of media within the super-violent-but-it's-actually-aimed-at-mostly-13-year-olds zone tend to have a pretty strong hugbox slant, even compared to other fandoms.

    HTF ~abuse ~blood ~gore 192 out of 2671 (7.2%)
    Fluffy_pony ~abuse ~blood ~gore 1375 out of 4157 (33.1%)

It's way too common for feral/mlp artists to make a equine anus and make the vagina smaller, making the focus be their asshole, then for them to make a vaginal penetration alt instead of anal.

Does anyone know how to draw clean lines with a mouse? Drawing tablets are like 200-400+ bucks unless I get some mousepad one for 20 I probably won't be able to use right cause I won't be able to know where my pen is unless I draw and undo the line 20 times(unless I am stupid in which please tell me).

whatever drawing program you have likely has some sort of stabilizer option

The show focused on gore and I enjoy it but the fandom is kinda soft. They almost always make what is equivalent to hugbox or fetish materials.

still convinced i'm too straight to be waking up from gay wet dreams but something sure happened this morning

When I used to have wet dreams, they weren't even erotic, but that was a long time ago, so it's strange that I'm not having them anymore.

Does anyone know if there's a way to see and or search for a specific advert in here?

I'm not quite well versed in forum skimming but I saw an interesting ad but since I was just looking in a pool I couldn't quite read the website handle or click on, by the time I reloaded the page it already had refreshed. Does anyone know if there's a way to check?

As for it being specific to public domain properties, it's a pretty simple premise if you don't have an in-depth understanding of something made before you were born; just use scattered references to the original & otherwise just use the character(s) as a recognizable shell to shove scares into.

Yeah... personally that's the most frustrating part when this type of derivative media arrives time to time, much more if the character/series actually had a charm or at least a thing that could be used for a more interesting type of horror but it was dumped for some reason T~T

I feel the need to leave this here.

Even that game over screen is more iconic than a generic slasher with a recognizable face in the cover, mostly because this is actually about the character in question

Alr, alr. Looks like Felix isn't an exception to the classic horrorific option with public domain characters... what I wonder now is what could be made with specifically him, you know, in order to make him feel more unique alongside other similar products and the gazillion Mickey horror movies

I imagine that's because, in both film & games, horror games have the best chance at a good budget to potential profit ratio. FNaF, creepypasta games, Bendy, Poppy's Playtime, Lethal Company... Hell, Cruelty Squad & even Undertale had horror elements/sections. If there's an indie game to break into the mainstream, 9 out of 10 times, it's a horror game.

Probably some really fucked up horror remix like Blood and Honey since his early versions have hit the Public Domain. Last Week Tonight has done some stuff with Steamboat Willie and plans to do more with Donald Duck once he hits the public domain.

(I also used to love the old racist cartoons from Superman fighting Japan in WWII or whatever because holy shit, they got away with some crazy stuff.)

If you're hypothethically asked or want to make a revival for Felix The Cat... what would be a thing you'd do to make him attractive to modern audiences? Would you use his old series' or short films as an inspiration or would you try to make something new from scratch?

I've been very interested about a topic for quite a good time, and I would like to know about what ideas can you all offer to the topic with a particular question.

Pretty much anything can be an interesting thing, a character like him results to be really versatile to put in any situation with any type of characters... and let's just say i'm quite interested in experimenting with that myself, and as well hearing what kind of things would fit in an agent of chaos like Felix

Oh, I didn't know how to ask, but what kind of attack was it? I hope it wasn't data theft.

For what the message says it seems this was a DDoS attack (Distributed Denial-of-Service) that was affecting the way this site was processing actions

Hey, does anyone know why you have to wait for the page to load when you enter it?
This is the second time I've seen "just a moment and ing I'm not a robot." Is this a new security system for the website, or why?

If that is true, it probably was cause he was tired of the trolls. I his about had something about appealing to spe because he was fed up with the trolls just going to spe anyways. I never interacted with mario but he seems like a good guy.

I don't think there has even been a single troll.
Dmails were mostly appeals of I'm deleting something according to guidelines and someone new didn't read anything but still managed to make a message, then I just link them to guidelines or say they are incorrect, they get mad at me for not reading their message even though I did but they didn't read anything, then head promised to deal with those so they did, but then they stopped responding to those messages when I forwarded s to them, etc. etc. Just stupid time wasting nonsense when I'm already out of time.

Also was writing whole paragraph but blips are capped at 1000 letters, so...

Also wondering why we still dont have phones with just normal m.2 2230 ssd

My assumption is planned obsolescence. I don't know anything about phone hardware, but I doubt they're built to last for more than a couple years at most.

We have adapted to be more intentional about these things, which might be what's happening in this case, but sometimes it's just the simple fact that there's a hell of a lot of you & not that many of us; you can tell by my record creation history that I strongly prefer to go into detail about what someone did wrong & explain the problems, but... you can also see how few records I made, even back when I was actively doing mod work. It sometimes took me hours, & it takes most mods minutes; that speed is unfortunately required at our scale, & sometimes comes at the consequence of clarity & specificity.

That said, I've also made a tool sometime in the last year or so to help us record warnings over DMail for the rest of staff, so when we feel like being specific because it's a first offense & we believe they can improve, there's a far bigger chance that it won't even make it into a record; it'll just be a DMail.

Did you try reseating the network card, and if that didn't work, replacing it entirely? Understandable if it's just too old to survive, though. At that point, you just harvest it for parts (usually just RAM and storage with a laptop) and recycle the rest.

Yep I did that last week and still nothing.

Is it just me or has Wikipedia rewritten the most interesting articles to be as dry and boring as possible? Looking up the goofballs of history like Diogenes and Dave Mustaine shows that the funniest anecdotes are gone now. It sucks.

aye, sometimes, it just makes me appreciate stuff like the very obvious joke edits that are left right out in the open but go unnoticed and unchanged for years like the one in the infobox for the page on peas.

My beloved gateway babyfur cub artist Skidoo has leveled up their rendering capability an unreal ammount over the last small handful of s they have made. Check out their art on here for a before and after. The rapidness of the progression has been pretty wild.

Yeah, I don't think my laptop can be saved. If installing the new driver from the website can't help it connect to the internet immediately I don't think anything will. It's been a good six years but I'm just gonna get a new laptop. I wouldn't mind having something that wont heat up like crazy when I run a DS emulator.

Finished watching Digimon Savers and oh man that was boring. I'll give it props for trying something new but still I wasn't all that enthused. I move onto Xros Wars when I feel like bingeing again.
