MemberAccording to their comment on one of their s on Newgrounds they've given up on illustrations in favour of animations due to Generative AI.
On the one hand, their animations are pretty darn great so you won't hear any complaints from me.
But on the other hand, their illustrations are more impressive and straight up look better than anything I've seen out of the dumpster that is Generative AI so its disappointing that we won't get to see more amazing illustrations as a result.
Not criticizing their decision, mind. The frustration surrounding AI art from artists is completely understandable.

It's a really unfortunate scenario that isn't likely to change if people don't stop being so quick to accuse AI whenever they see something that looks good, especially when there aren't any obvious signs of possible AI generation.
