MemberMandy has, back-to-back, made two big fuckups: Not finishing Vanessa, then forgetting Vanessa's a bigger threat than Alex. From the look on her face, she's just figured that out.
My guesses?
A) If she knows Teleport, might be her one chance to escape, or whatever she's about to have left if Vanessa blitzes her mid-teleport and she doesn't leave in one piece, maybe literally losing a body part in the process.
B) At this point, she might have to pull the "taking you with me" card and either use Destiny Bond if she knows it (which is dastardly but Mandy is really full of herself, doesn't seem like the type to use a "we both lose" move), even if just to buy time to figure something else out or to be taken alive if there's no escape, or a point-blank Shadow Ball when Vanessa rushes her. If Shadow Ball: As much as I hate seeing Vanessa and Alex hurt, emotionally or (now) physically, Alex took a big hit for her, I wouldn't mind seeing Vanessa power through some pain, even if their teamwork is she's the DPS/finisher and he's the tank/draws aggro. If Destiny Bond: I can only imagine the piss-herself levels of fear on her face when Vanessa comes to finish her anyway. "Even if it costs me my life," she said, and she's a woman of her word. The only way Mandy is getting out of that is if Alex talks Vanessa down from not wanting to lose her. Of course, that might not stop one of them from KOing her just to make sure she's down :3
C) Game Over, no lives, no continues, save file is fucking erased for Mandy.
I had the thought that something more like this was coming , which works better with Vanessa still in the air but I'm not being picky on details. And she's doing the frog pose because she's about to rebound and spring hard enough to leave a crater behind :D
