Description

"Democracy falls not on blade nor barrel, but on the rallying cries of the ignorant crowd." -Nausk Vel the Ambassador

Despite their ghastly dominion, the Hive prefers to use diplomacy over war when the opportunity arises, using violent force only when necessary. But even in times of negotiating, this too is met with obstacles, be it suspect politicians or lobbyists, the Hive’s adversaries will never surrender their domains to the eldritch empire, even if the global populace is in favor of it. Fortunately for the Hive, this is where undercover agents come in to “persuade” the opposition; take Nausk Vel, an incredibly proficient assassin in the arts of close-range combat and stealth. Nausk Vel is a living weapon equipped with a variety of tools to horrifically silence dissenting voices to ensure the Hive gains favor amongst the political public in and out of office. Their manner of execution is so exemplary that it can be convincingly mistaken as a freak accident; the only obvious clue would be the time between the assassination and the target of interest's relevance in political engagement. But without any evidence to lead to a suspect, these concerns would be seen as only conspiracies, allowing the parties in favor of the Hive to win the polls. But this assassin isn’t just excellent at taking down civilian targets, but also military grade as well, from grunts to the most loyal elites. Nausk Vel makes quick work of these, too. As far as Nausk Vel themself, there isn’t much, outside of the fact that they are a Shroud Killer hybrid, a fighting organism from a rival biomechanical empire known as Xynaliphs. Nausk Vel likes spending time with other high-ranking officials, sometimes even flirting with them, acting more humanoid than most hive soldiers, showing that even as deadly as they are, they won’t up an offer to be playful. Nausk Vel is both odd and lethal, making predictions difficult for observers, but all the merrier for this stealthy specimen.
