Well I mean, how many evil rulers say what they do is for the betterment of the future? I have extreme doubt that he's not some crazed fanatic believing what his master says. Anyone willingly killing children has no thoughts about the future other than their own selfish version of it

Having played Monster Girl Quest: Paradox...I can see the logic in that, if that's where this is going.

  • Last time we saw someone get converted it was like they got told some horrible truth about Luna. So yeah, there's something going on.

  • I have the vague feeling that Alex is holding back to avoid revealing that he's a literal Divine Entity... I hope blackscale here says something about killing his daughter in front of him, because then Alexander will turn him inside out.

Yeah, but you have to think outside of the box! Look at the facts: most of the gods are (somehow) dead, and I feel like the world isn’t at its best right now. Sometimes, you have to do a reset, cut down the sick tree so it can grow back from the stump! Think, Bigbucakus, think! I doubt a faithful knight would’ve switched sides by being shown some complete bullshit, there must be a reason! There must be some part of truth in what Rah Jan showed him, and of course some part of lies, because Rah Jan doesn’t look very honest of course.
But maybe I’m just going crazy because it’s 3:30 in the morning right now and I should be sleeping.

Wild fires do clear out the dead and decaying, allowing healthy plants to grown. Pine cones only open to release seeds after a fire.

Yeah but this is more akin to burning the forest and then salting the earth right after

Unless....the world they are living in is a simulation.

Rah-Jan's minions are presumably the ones who killed the gods in the first place. Also what his forces of darkness are doing is less like cutting down a sick tree, but salting the earth.
