MemberFrom what I can deduce & interpret from the artists description over at source, & looking through his past work, the flag is for a fictitious middle eastern/Arabic country that the character is from.
Also he mentions on the next image that it is a reiteration of the Jungle Book in the modern(ish) setting called as a project simply 'Book of Voyta'. . So there will most likely be a map coming soon.
