people arent being mean or trolls all the time just because they arent always saying positive things. you do need SOME realism or cynicism or SOMETHING to help notice and iron out flaws in yourself you cant see, or else you'll just get delusional, and angry and defensive at the slightest attack at an insecurity, which are both things that really hold you back later down the road.
sometimes people are just being straight up assholes but occasionally there are people who do have better interests at heart
this is why you quite literally have people who have 1000+ submissions on multiple art sites and they actually haven't improved at all from day 1. i see it a lot and i really hate it. i wanna see people push themselves to learn and be better all around rather than just focus on the attention they get.

A few tips though, the balls on the right character don't quite look "right", in the sense they kind of seem to look like 1 orb instead of 2 balls inside of a sack of flesh, and the heels on the feet might need some better shading and experimentation, well done though, art aint easy!
