MemberI never watched Big Mouth, and the disgusting art style is the very reason why I got turned away from it even before I had any idea what the show was about. I don't know what it's actually worth, but even if it had the best writing in the world, it's not going to help much when the artstyle itself is repulsive.
I'm gonna give Mating Season a chance, though. The artstyle still looks kinda obnoxious, but at least it's not "my eyes are gonna fill a restraining order" obnoxious.

MemberJusta just came out and I really don't understand why Netflix gave it the green light
I have to say that the animation is really bad and the jokes are meh, since the joke is literally about watching one animal have sex with another, or even the bear ended up killing another Bear ripping off his penis and like the whole episode the raccoon was stuck with a skunk the whole episode but still it must have been something different since It's true what they say, it looks like the Friends series but with animals and sex, and not only that, it also feels like Big Mouth.
But what worries me most is seeing that the creator said he found it funny to see dogs in the knot stage because he found it amusing, even though I know there's a Knot Tag here But at the very least, it's no more morbid and pornographic than literally seeing that with real animals.

MemberIt's good if you liked Big Mouth for the topics it covers. Also uses some of the same voice actors so it's almost like this show is picking up where Big Mouth left off, exploring what dating is like for people in their twenties/thirties. My biggest complaint is that the show doesn't use the characters being animals to its advantage. It does sometimes but more than anything I feel like they're only animals because otherwise the show would be too ordinary. Anyway, it's not that bad. I certainly don't regret my time with it.
