Why would a vaguely canine creature have crotch tits?

Well, when I say crotch tits, what I mean is the more canine version, six along the belly. I'm sorry, pony stuff had a whole thing about it. The point being, it a feral, we might as well put the boobs in the right places.

You are correct, but Pony is (generally) Feral and this is Feral. The same rules and suggestions apply.

Y'know what? Fuck you (Un-anthros your Renamon)

The irony is one of the next line evolutions for Renamon is a feral. No idea why they wouldn't just draw Kyubimon.

See, that's kinda the thing. It's almost like an alternate reality or a pokemon swapout v Ninetales and Vulpix. It's kinda mentally fucky. Hell if you start at Viximon, a monobody quadroped, Renamon is the odd one out 'til you get to Taomon and even then she doesn't really fit in Japanese mythos unless you're trying to avatarize the fox with effectively the young female warrior aspect that Rika tries to go for which is basically a kunoichi but not quite. It's weird. Digimon is always weird.

Dude Kyubimon's design is completely different, I just like Renamon more. Also why should I decide what to draw based on the evolution line of a character? I guess it's illegal to come up with new ideas and be a little creative.

With respect you should consider being less thin skinned. I wasn't criticizing you, though I do think it's odd you went out of your way to draw renamon as a feral when there exists many ferals in her evolution line. Me having an opinion isn't an attack on what you do with your personal time or art.

    ...Because that's not the point?

Touche? Just struck me as more unusual since there are some feral designs in the evolution line. I suppose the reverse criticism could be levied against anthro Kyuubimon following that logic.

Agreed, love the art of digimon. But some of the evolution lines for digimon are rather wild. Especially when you step away from the manga/anime. It's certainly an interesting system, especially since it emphasizes shifting back and forth along the evolution lines. But going from something like a literal star avatar to a poo monster is both hilarious and weird. I don't recall if they ever bring this up in the anime or show. As they generally keep it a one way transformation outside of the Mc casts. It's wild that Kudamon from description lore comes from a literal bullet. But you evolve into it like you would normally.

Because these bolded lines are construed as an attack on the artist's choices. What the artist chooses to draw is of no concern to you. They can draw what they want. They had an idea in their head of something that didn't exist yet (In essence) and decided to bring it to life. That is the cornerstone of creativity itself and is what artists should be celebrated for, not scrutinized.

That is several logical leaps to read something in the worst light possible. Again, me having an opinion isn't an attack on their character or hobby. That others took it in that direction says more about themselves than I. If they want to construe it in that direction is fine. But constructing a victim stance where they are assailed by people randomly commenting on the internet will always put them on the back foot in conversations where people do anything besides shower them in adoration or agree with their ideas.

More over the idea that artists are immune to criticism based solely on creativity itself is ludicrous. There are several lenses in which art can be evaluated through and recieve criticism. That they posted it online always meant they were going to have to run the gambit of people scruitinizing their work. E6 generally isn't a site where we do such things, but someone somewhere was always going to come along and comment on the piece. The odds of it being positive or negative was going to be a mixed bag based on the viewers.

Saying things that are pleasant to hear, aren't necessarily things that are good for a person's growth. Had Rayn just said they had a preference for Renamon and wasn't interested in Kyuubimon I'd have dropped it. A difference of preference can't be helped. But rolling my comment into an attack on "originality" or their "freedom" of choice is the internet equavalent of a toddler tossing itself on the ground and wailing.

A ing observation from a random person on the internet is hardly a "scruitinization." But if you guys want criticism, fine. @Rayn the piece is over archingly fine, no overt errors I could be bothered to garner without whipping some kind of magnifying glass. That said your backgrounds appear to be a weakspot in your art style. Given how few you seem to draw, and how roughly the ones you did draw are. I'd suggest doing thumbnail sketches for background practice. They allow you to experiment with thumbsized background before commiting to a piece. Allowing you to try dozens of orientations at once, while not having to waste time drawing large canvases for each iteration.

As for your "construing" of my words earlier, you need to work on that as well. The internet lacks many of the luxuries of in person context clues, and without consistent rules for ettiquette people are going to write in ways that may be ambigiously written. If you jump the gun and read the worst iteration possible everytime, you are going to be in for a miserable time. Sometimes people are making random observations, rather than levying criticisms. By taking these in the worst possible light your going to burden yourself unduly with anything from anxiety to irritation. Especially if you lash out, because some people enjoy that sort of reaction. You might earn the attention of a erby whom have nothing better to do to than pester you relentlessly online. Turning what would have been a ing comment into a long term harrassment. Which can grow exponentially from there, as those sorts or people attract each other. More over it makes you look ridiculous when you take an ant hill and turn it into a speed bump.

I know everyone who read my comments earlier has seen much more scathing and aggressive criticism on the internet. It's full of people indulging in their worst impulses for no other reason than to be harmful to others. To construe my words as such means you guys haven't been bullied enough. Not that I'd wish that on you guys, but when someone really lays into you, you learn the difference between idle talk and someone intentionally disecting you with words.

As for you @Griffon, stop pampering artists. Their people just like anyone else, they don't get to hide from criticisms or mockery just because they can draw. They get the same whippings the rest of us do online. They have to stand by what they post, verbally or literaturely? Whatever, you guys know what I mean. Standing buffer between an individual and criticism only serves to infantilize them. You can't always be around to protect them. Even unearned ire is good for constructing character, allowing people to learn the difference between good and bad criticisms. Even unpleasant experiences are good for you in the long run, even if the medicine is bitter.

You made a stupid comment, I gave you a stupid response. That's literally it, it's not that deep bro… I'm sorry if I caused this pointless discussion but I will not argue over nonsense like this, have a great day

Fair. I suppose it was unfair of me to lump Griffon and you together just because you guys said similar things. All the best to you to.
