Just do what you think is the hottest to you in my opinion.

As for the character designs I mainly had the species as inspiration where I made Barley a bear cus of terminology where "bear" means a big hairy guy (which is smth I like).
For Conley they were simply my main oc and I made them feminine alot of the time, they are able to shapeshift a little but its not really going to show up in the comic just maybe in other pieces.
For Andy he was based on the whole thing about how "pandas can't fuck for shit" and I was inspired by catkitte's panda oc too
Pretty much all of the designs where mainly thought up before making the comic

3: I think the next few pages will show this but yes she does care for him, they're just young and dumb adults still figuring things out.
4: Well Conley didn't want to disrupt Andy's challenge and planned to just hold off until the end of the month but following the hypothetical, Andy might've come up with an idea with sex toys and the like although it would've made the challenge much harder for him.
