MemberWell, you would too if a family member killed another out of jealousy and losing they're mind. Celestia supposively killed Luna, after the nightmare moon misunderstanding. Luna had no intentions of taking the throne and the few reason why most if not all they're subjects liked Luna more, is because she acted more like a mother to her subjects, had help from Twilight and her friends in being nicer and she held barely any ill will toward her sister.
